We had the joy of creating a Florida paradise right in this family’s backyard.
They wanted their favorite fish, turtles, dolphins, and all the beauty of the beach so every swim feels like being right at the Florida ocean. This over 200-square-foot mural wraps around their entire patio and features Caladesi Island, complete with boats, people swimming, a pelican, palm leaves, shells, egrets, sanderlings, sailboats, coral reef plants, starfish, a turtle, three dolphins, and seagulls flying overhead. The patio pillars were painted with a sky-to-sea gradient and a motif of kelp and orange fish to tie the whole scene together.
We loved bringing their vision to life and getting to know the family along the way. Our favorite moment was their youngest 5 year old son saying, “That looks great,” and his older brother smiling in agreement. The transformation was incredible, turning their patio into a true coastal escape.
They were an amazing client, and it was special to create this piece knowing they will be enjoying it for years to come!
